The BRA has been funded by the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to administer a housing rehabilitation program. The program provides financial assistance to owner occupied single family or owner occupied two family low income homeowners to perform necessary home repairs and improvements. Financial assistance is offered in the form of a 0% interest, deferred payment loan, that is payable when the property is sold, transferred, or refinanced.

If you are interested in applying for the program, please contact us or fill out the pre-application at the link below and return it to our office. Once you have done so, your pre-application will be reviewed, and you will be contacted. All information is confidential.

Program Process:
Applicants must first submit a pre-application. The pre-application will be reviewed to ensure the applicant meets the minimum qualifications and an inspection of the home will be taken place to evaluate if the necessary repairs constitute an emergency. If the repairs are deemed an emergency, the applicant will be required to complete a full application. The BRA will then assist the homeowner with the loan documents, preparing the bid documents, the contractor selection, and management of the work.
