The BRA has been funded by the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to administer a housing rehabilitation program. The program provides financial assistance to owner occupied single family or owner occupied two family low income homeowners to perform necessary home repairs and improvements. Financial assistance is offered in the form of a 0% interest, deferred payment loan, that is payable when the property is sold, transferred, or refinanced.

Program Qualifications:

City of Brockton Resident and Homeowner
Owner Occupied Single or Two Family Home
Low- and Moderate-Income Household (see pre-application)

Typical repairs may include a home’s roof, chimney, electrical, plumbing, floors, windows, foundation, general carpentry, and/or structure.

***Currently the BRA is prioritizing those applicants with emergency repairs that may endanger the safety, health, and well-being of the household. All homeowners are encouraged to submit an application even those with non-emergency repairs and they will be placed on the wait list in the order they were received.***

If you are interested in applying for the program please contact us or fill out the per-application at the link below and return it to our office. Once you have done so your pre-application will be reviewed and you will be contacted. All information is confidential.
