The City of Brockton received a $4.7 million grant to help create safe housing environments for Brockton families. Lead Based Paint Hazard Control Program is a limited-time program that provides funding to Brockton homeowners to address lead hazards.


Our goal is to mitigate lead hazards in 210 Brockton housing units by 2024.

The program’s goal is to help create safer housing for Brockton families by remediating lead-based paint hazards in residential units. Lead Based Paint Hazard Control program is a limited-time program that provides no-interest forgivable loans for Brockton residents to address existing lead hazards. The program’s goal is to abate these hazards in 210 Brockton housing units by 2024. The Housing Division has secured a $4.7 million federal grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development

The program covers up to $20,000 in lead paint removal and an additional $5,000 healthy homes funding per a unit.
