The Oak Street Project is located along Oak Street between the Fuller Craft Museum and the D.W. Field Park entrance. The project scope will improve the overall streetscape along this stretch of Oak Street, including the width and landscaping of the islands. The project will also increasing the pedestrian access between the two sections of D.W. Field divided by the Oak Street by improving pedestrian crossings and calming traffic. The project is currently in the preliminary design phase and engineering services have been procured to surveying the site. This project is made possible by Federal CDBG Streetscape funding.
